Testimonials

“The faculty was passionate and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend their teacher training program ”

— Kiesten T.

“Would recommend Afterglow’s YTT to anyone interested in deepening their yoga practice. Despite a wild year the owners and faculty accommodated everyone in the program as best they could. Definitely a great experience and great community to learn from in the Greater Toronto Area!”

— Andrew W.

“My experience was unique, given I was halfway through my training when Covid shut the world down. Yet through a mix of online and in-person sessions outdoors, I was to complete my training and feel confident that I had the knowledge and skill-set to begin teaching yoga. The instructors were endlessly encouraging and patient and the curriculum was comprehensive, encompassing yoga philosophy, history, modern issues of appropriation and trauma sensitivity (among others) as well as the physical practice”

— Sarah G.

Loved the program here. I have definitely developed a deeper knowledge and sense of connection to the practice and myself. Definitely feeling ready to teach after completing the program. Teachers are excellent and did their best to accommodate during the pandemic.

— Ashley P

“I recently completed my 220h YTT certification with Afterglow Studio. The course felt more like multiple weekend retreats than training. The owners and instructors are exceptional and extremely knowledgable in their specialty. The instructors go above and beyond to meet the needs of each student through their teaching or demonstrations and were always available should we have any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Afterglow Studio to anyone in Toronto looking to complete their YTT.”
