I’M NEW TO AFTERGLOW, HOW DO I START?
For the beginner yogi, we recommend Flow Basics or Cool Flow. We encourage you to let the teacher know you are new to yoga so they can best assist you. The more seasoned yogi can jump into a Vinyasa Flow or for something vigorous, a Power Flow, YogaSCULPT or YogaHIIT. New clients can take advantage of our ONE MONTH UNLIMITED INTRO for only $49 + HST.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. We recommend leggings and a tank top for women and a pair of shorts, or light sweatpants and tank or tee for men.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Bring a yoga mat or rent one of our BMATS for $2. Bring water for the class and make sure to stay after for complimentary oranges and tea.
ARE YOUR ROOMS HEATED? MIRRORED?
Our rooms are kept at a comfortable temperature of approximately 70 degrees. We do not have mirrors in our studio spaces.
DO YOUR CLASSES HAVE MUSIC?
Yes, we love using music to help create mood and atmosphere in the class. We think you’ll like our playlists and we’ll even share them with you too!
CAN I BRING MY CELL PHONE INTO CLASS?
In an effort to help you unplug and unwind we do not allow cell phones into our practice spaces. If you’re expecting an important call, give them our phone number (647.748.4569) and let the front desk know. We’re happy to come in and find you.
DO YOU HAVE CHANGE ROOMS?
We have both women’s and men’s change rooms stocked with toiletries and self-care items. Only the women’s change room has a shower (with towels provided for $2). Sorry guys. We’re working on it.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I GET TO CLASS?
If you’re new to Afterglow, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill in our waiver and get set up.
DO YOU ALLOW LATECOMERS?
We allow a five minute grace period. After that, out of respect for others already practicing, we do not allow entry into the class. Many of our classes start with meditation or breath work. If you’re late you will be asked to wait until this part of the class is over before going in. If the class is full you will not be allowed entry.
HOW CAN I PAY?
We offer a number of pricing options including drop in, class pass packages and unlimited memberships. Cash, Visa, Mastercard and debit.
CAN I PLACE MY MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD?
Once per year, you can place your Glow Monthly on hold for up to a 2 month period. Please provide 2 weeks notice in writing by email to place your membership on hold.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
Please provide 2 weeks notice to cancel your Glow Monthly membership. There is a $25 administration fee for canceling your membership within the first 18 months.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
There is no refund on class passes, memberships, workshops or trainings. Retail items in our glow shop can be returned within 2 weeks.
