Burnout to Balance

January 2023

A 4 week workshop to restore and reset from burnout, bringing balance back into your life through focus on nutrition, stress coping skills, sleep and hormones.  

4 weekly 90 minute sessions (1x/week)

  • 10 minutes self care (stretch, restorative, music, read, pull a card, use journal prompt)

  • 15 mins group share

  • 30 mins weekly lesson & discussion

  • 10 mins goals and planning

  • 15 mins restorative movement, meditation etc. close and tie in session lesson

Week #1 - Nutrition

  • What is burn-out and adrenal fatigue

  • Foods for healing burnout & supporting adrenals

  • Balancing blood sugar

  • Blood sugar and cortisol

  • Anti Inflammatory nutrition guide & recipes

  • Hydration & electrolytes

  • Nutrition homework for the week

  • Pre-work

  • Intro to nutrition and burn-out

  • 3 day food journal Week

Week #2 - Stress & Stress Management

  • Intro to the nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic)

  • Meditation, breathwork, gratitude practice, journaling, exercise and movement

  • Discovering parasympathetic activating activities

  • Building a simple morning routine

  • Essential oils & restorative poses

Week #3 - Sleep

  • Sleep-wake cycles

  • Nutrition and stress management for sleeping

  • Building an evening routine

  • Sleep aid essential oils, herbs & supplements

Week #4 - Maintaining Balance moving forward

  • Review of goals and check-in from week

  • Planning for obstacles

  • Review of lessons, tools and personalized plan moving forward
